Jemima Burrill

The Serpentine Gallery

2006

As Acting Head of Publicity and PR at The Serpentine Gallery, I led communications during a landmark phase of international programming. I delivered high-impact press campaigns for major exhibitions including China Power Station I at Battersea Power Station, and Damien Hirst’s In the Darkest Hour There May Be Light…Uncertain States of America.

I worked closely with curators, including Hans Ulrich Obrist, to shape narratives that connected curatorial vision with public discourse thus securing national media coverage and ensuring cultural resonance across audiences and platforms.
